How many moves ahead can a chess master see? Some believe chess masters calculate 25-30 moves deep. A former world chess champion once said that he can see about 15-20 moves ahead. Whatever the answer, it is way beyond my understanding.
But here's what I do understand. You may "see" 20 moves ahead, but if you don't reach out your hand, pick up a chess piece, and make your (planned) move, your ability to "see" deep will get you nowhere.
Yes, a great idea is a beautiful thing to imagine. But you cannot imagine an idea into being. (The so-called Law of Attraction? You decide.)
Want to know what I can "see" 1-5 years ahead? If you don't act on your ideas, your ideas will act on you...
... mainly by one day spooking you with "if only" and "what if" visitations.
